Green Nova Community Advocates is expanding nationwide and looking for motivated, people-first individuals to represent our community solar programs in residential neighborhoods. You will be the face of Green Nova in your community, helping families understand how they can benefit from clean energy without ever touching their roof or switching their utility provider.

This role is ideal for anyone who thrives in conversation, wants uncapped earning potential, and values work that genuinely helps people save money month after month.

• Conduct face-to-face outreach in residential neighborhoods within your territory
• Educate homeowners and renters on how community solar programs work, how credits are applied to their utility bill, and what they can expect in savings
• Facilitate customer enrollment in local solar farm subscriptions at zero cost to the customer
• Represent Green Nova with professionalism, honesty, and a community-first approach in every interaction
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and submitted enrollments

• Self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong self-discipline, and a drive to perform
• No prior solar or energy experience needed. Green Nova provides a complete contractor orientation covering product knowledge, outreach approach, and enrollment process
• Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license
• Comfortable with outdoor, community-facing work in residential areas

This is where the real earning potential in community solar lives. Commercial accounts carry significantly higher commission value than residential enrollments, and the conversations are straightforward once you understand the financial case. You will be reaching out to business owners, property managers, municipalities, and multi-unit property owners to introduce them to community solar as a zero-cost way to reduce their operating expenses and demonstrate environmental responsibility.

This role is fully remote. You manage your own pipeline, set your own outreach cadence, and close on your own terms. No territory restrictions. No required hours. Your phone and your knowledge are your entire toolkit.

• Identify and reach out to commercial accounts including small businesses, retail properties, office buildings, municipalities, nonprofits, and multi-unit residential properties
• Conduct outreach via phone and virtual meetings, educating financial decision makers on the cost reduction and sustainability benefits of community solar subscriptions
• Present the financial case clearly: reduced electricity operating costs, no capital expenditure required, no equipment to install, and rate stability relative to standard utility pricing
• Coordinate with Green Nova's operations team to complete commercial enrollment paperwork and ensure a clean, professional customer handoff
• Build, manage, and grow your own pipeline of commercial prospects across active and upcoming Green Nova markets
• Follow up consistently with warm leads and track account status with discipline and accuracy

• Background in B2B sales, commercial real estate, energy consulting, account management, or business development is a strong advantage
• Comfortable leading confident, consultative conversations with business owners and financial decision makers over the phone
• Highly organized, self-managed, and capable of independently working a multi-touch sales pipeline
• Prior solar or energy industry experience is appreciated but not required. Green Nova provides a full commercial product orientation and enrollment support
• Must be comfortable with outbound prospecting and high outreach volume in early pipeline stages

A single commercial account can represent the electricity consumption of dozens of residential customers. Commission is earned on the scale of the subscription, which means one well-placed commercial account can outperform an entire week of residential field work. The barrier to entry is a clear financial conversation, not a technical one.
